Built To Last

So much of what you own was built to be thrown away. It’s hard to find a product these days that is designed with the intent to stand the test of time. The one exception might be our homes. We know that we will need them for many years, create memories and legacies in them, and pass them on to our kids. There is so much more to a home than the brick, mortar, and timber that holds it together. That is why we do what we do at Hestia Restoration Co.

Hestia was the Greek goddess of the hearth. The place where family gathers to find warmth, share stories, and create connection. The power of those stories gets woven into the fabric of the structure itself and that is worth preserving. When another contractor may want to rip out and replace, Hestia searches for ways to use original materials and preserve the intent of the original builder whenever possible.

That doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice modern convenience. You don’t have to feel like you’re living in history in order to preserve it. We love grafting a modern update into a historic structure while respecting the enduring legacy of the property and the people that have lived, loved, and worked so hard to make it what it is today.
